Cloudways pricing: how the plans actually work
Cloudways doesn't sell one fixed "hosting plan" — you pick an underlying cloud provider (DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode/Akamai, AWS, or Google Cloud), a server size on that provider, and pay hourly or monthly for what you use, on top of Cloudways' management layer.
Entry-level pricing by provider
These are the lowest published starting tiers as of our last check. Cloud infrastructure pricing changes; confirm current numbers on Cloudways' live pricing page before you commit.
| Provider | Entry RAM | Entry storage | Approx. starting price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DigitalOcean | 1 GB | 25 GB | ~$14/mo | Small sites, agencies testing the platform |
| Vultr High Frequency | 1 GB | 32 GB NVMe | ~$14/mo | Latency-sensitive small/medium sites |
| Linode / Akamai | 1 GB | 25 GB | ~$14/mo | Similar tier to DigitalOcean, different network |
| AWS | 1 GB | 20 GB | ~$37/mo | Teams already standardized on AWS |
| Google Cloud | 1.7 GB | 20 GB | ~$38/mo | Teams already standardized on GCP |
